Accommodation
At Mary's View you can sit on your patio and watch the sun slip behind the mountain whilst sipping on a glass of wine, you can braai in the tranquil garden, or simply "chill "out in your spacious, air conditioned room. The front “stoep” that adjoins the breakfast area is also a favourite spot where some guests like to unwind after a day in the car or office. The Lapa that hugs the pool offers a spot to sit and read, play a game of darts or for the water babies… a plunge in the sparkling pool. Swimming towels are available on request.
All of our units (of which there are 4) are semi - self catering. Each is equipped with:
- a bar fridge,
- microwave,
- toaster,
- tea and coffee making facilities.
Security doors allow you the pleasure of enjoying the cool evening breeze. ADSL lines are available in each unit, and as an added bonus we offer free and unlimited access. Off road parking is available, and each guest is provided with a gate remote for ease of access.
The two bigger units, Mary and Jean, come equipped with a king sized bed dressed in clean, crisp, white linen. A full sized bath, often dressed in rose petals or lavender, is there for your pampering. If showering under the African sky appeals to you, then Mary and Jean can offer you that pleasure. The bigger units not only have a splendid bath, but a very private and enclosed open air shower, ensconced by trees and the African sky. This creates a rather romantic little haven for those special occasions.

The two smaller units, Bill and Hugh, come equipped with a Queen sized bed dressed in clean, crisp, white linen. These 2 units have en suite showers only and are perfect for a quick stopover for single or double occupancy.

Mary's View, according to past guests, is home away from home, whether it is privacy or company you seek, you can be sure that at Mary's View you will find it. The beauty of Mary's view lies in the welcoming environment you can expect when entering our gate. A very loving Weimeraner, a hyper Jack Russell and a loyal Border Collie will ensure you are greeted with much enthusiasm. Tori and Vuvuzela are our cats who may, if they feel like it, grace you with their presence.
